NYU's kidnappers give up demands

Remember the controversial ransom note ad campaign run by NYU? You know, from two days ago?

NYU killed it. Too much bad buzz.

Below, the one that used to be by my office, snapped a few minutes after I wrote my earlier post.

I can see why the University pulled this; it's not clear from the copy whether the poster is an ad for a child care center or the VH1 bio of the Olsen twins.

If this campaign was aimed at the parents/caregivers they shoulda tested it with people like myself, with a 5-year-old with AS, or my co-workers whose teenager was just committed after limiting herself to 300 calories a day.
While one part of me was taken with the sheer off-the-wall affrontery of it another part of me was just, oh shut up, I get enough judgemental garbage when my kid loses it while out shopping.
This is "public service"????
