Bob Kane's social venture

The work I'm doing on the Superman case this week reminds me of this post on a charitable venture involving Batman creator Bob Kane.  Say what one will about his swipes and prolific use of ghosts, the fact is he had a knack for using the law to his own advantage. Below: a letter authorizing others to act on his behalf in a venture selling Batman artwork for charity.  Note the caveats and reservations--even when dealing with a charity, Kane exerted rigorous control.
